Rotarians Against Malaria Annual Australian Conference

20th - 21st August, 2016 - Ciloms Airport Lodge, Tullamarine

Rotarians Against Malaria, a division of Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) will hold its annual conference in 2016 in Melbourne where you are invited to hear from a wide range of speakers on the developments and work being undertaken by clubs from across Australia and beyond.

Fifteen years ago, Malaria killed a child every 30 seconds. Under the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, however, considerable progress has been made in preventing, diagnosing and treating malaria. As a result, deaths have fallen by 60 percent.

Now, under the ambitious Sustainable Development Goals, the UN aims to reduce Malaria cases and deaths by a further 90 percent by 2030.
