Southbank Rotary Riders for MS

Join Southbank Rotary on the 2013 MS Melbourne Cycle on Sunday 24th Februrary 2013 to raise much needed funds to show your support for people living with MS.  This is a perfect opportunity to get on your bike with your family and friends and raise much needed funds for research into a cure for MS.

The Melbourne Cycle’s 50km ride is well regarded as the best way to prepare for your transition into bunch riding and the perfect course length for a challenging yet comfortable experience. The 25km short course is aimed at families to experience a leisurely alternative.

As we have seen so many times in recent years, our New Year has started with a natural disaster on a large scale.

As news of the catastrophic bushfires in the Tasman Peninsula and Bicheno areas of Tasmania has emerged, we have also seen reports of fires emerging elsewhere across Australia. With the early start to the bushfire risk period this summer and climatic projections dashing hopes of an early respite, the prognosis this summer is presently very pessimistic.
