Tall Ship Tenacious coming to Melbourne – Reimagining Capability

Tenacious and its sister ship The Lord Nelson are no ordinary sailing ships.  They have been designed with the vision that if disabled people could sail alongside able-bodied people as part of the crew, it would help break down the prejudices and misunderstandings between people with different circumstances in life.

And on August 27, Tenacious will be arriving in Melbourne ahead of a year of sailing opportunities in a series of voyages from day sailings as well as journeys between different cities around Australia.

The ship is due to arrive in Williamstown and will initially be held in dry-dock in Williamstown in preparation for the journeys ahead.

And then on the 10th September, 2016, which also marks the launch of the Choir of Hard Knock’s 10th Anniversary, we will also be joined by the choir to help celebrate these two momentus occasions.

Stay tuned for further details as they come to hand.
