Stella Maris Seafarer's Centre

To provide a 'home away from home' for all Seafarers; ensuring spiritual, social and material needs of Seafarers are met - regardless of race, colour or creed.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

The Rotary Clubs of Southbank, St Kilda & Yarraville will be running a working bee at Stella Maris Seafarers' Centre on Saturday 20th October 2012 from 8:30 am, to remove old carpet from the hostel rooms and assist with the laying of new carpet. On the following Tuesday 23rd October 2012, we will return to the Stella Maris Seafarers' Centre for a combined community and vocational club visit with all three clubs. We will meet at the centre at 6pm for 6.30pm for our combined club meeting and tour of the facilities.

Vote for Rotary for United 10 Million Charity Miles

It only takes a few seconds to vote for Rotary in United's 10 Million Charity Miles Giveaway.

Rotarians use Charity Miles to change lives by helping with humanitarian projects, such as transporting children with birth defects to hospitals for treatments they can't receive at home.

He will also share with us his passion for motorbikes and medical aid in developing countries through his challenge to Ride for Smiles with Rotary -  an epic 6500 mile (approx. 10,460 km) motorbike ride through South East Asia and across Australia to raise funds and awareness for Interplast Australia and New Zealand.
